Check out this heartwarming story about a father, his dream car(65 Mustang Fastback) & the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter who was born with a large facial tumor. This is my family and I really want to bring this car home.

On April 12, 1994 Ross & Maria Arthur bring their beautiful baby girl, Jade Nicole Arthur, into the world. They were devastated to learn that Jade was born with a large disfiguring tumor on her nose & upper lip called a hemangioma. Jade would also later develop juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. In light of the care Jade will need, Maria gives up her career to be home with Jade. For the next 18 years the family faces 11 operations, emotional anguish and financial devastation. Trying to survive on an electrician's salary was impossible and the family made many sacrifices in the process.
On 9/28/2000, Ross makes the find of a lifetime! He purchases the rusted frame of a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback for $200. You can only imagine what Maria thought upon seeing this. What do we need this for? How can we possibly afford to restore a vehicle while living paycheck to paycheck? But, Ross had a plan to just take his time and barter for the work needed and the outcome was nothing short of a miracle. Ross worked all day in the blazing Florida sun as an electrician and every night he worked in the garage on his car. Years later Ross's dream car actually materialized from that rusted frame into his dream car and it was truly a sight to behold. He was so proud of his Fastback and I was so proud of him. Plus, I got to ride in one hot looking car!
On 12/3/2004, faced with Jade's medical bills, mounting debt and possible foreclosure, Ross sold his dream car for his family. He made it seem like it was an easy decision but I know he thinks about that car all the time. We frequent car shows and he seeks out the Fastbacks first and always compares them to HIS car. I was proud when he restored that Mustang but I was even more proud, so amazed and more in love with that man when he made the ultimate sacrifice without even batting an eye and sold his treasured car.
I have the perfect ending to this family's incredible journey. Jade prepares for college. Ross is handed the keys to the 1965 Fastback that he sacrificed for his family. Awesome story right?
I have tons of pictures, the original Bill of Sale, the receipt when the Mustang was sold, a copy of the registration and even a set of keys from the 65 Fastback. Now if only I could reunite my wonderful husband with his car.

I wonder how many people have had to sacrifice a beloved vehicle for one reason or another and how much it would mean to them to get that car back. My story may not be unique but it is real. My husband has not seen his car since the day he sold it on 12/3/2004. Can you help?
